In Talos, and most of the ATS' I've worked with in my career, there's always been a way to directly copy a vacancy within the system without needing to create a brand-new vacancy as a whole.
E.G Same users, same advert text, advert layout, same app form etc... same vacancy fields etc... however the reason a copy is quite common, as when a vacancy has been on the system for a while and they want to post a fresh advert (with exactly the same details) but just have a fresh vacancy of applications etc...
The ability to directly copy an existing vacancy was quite popular because it reduces the admin for the user to go through all of the vacancy creation and skip straight to publishing.

Clients should be able to go onto a vacancy and click to copy/duplicate, instead of having to use the 'Create Template from this vacancy'. Often clients recruit for the same role, but without this functionality they end up just continuing the recruitment on one vacancy with lots of different publishing's, which is not good for reporting and means the vacancy never gets anonymised with purge settings as it is constantly being worked on
